The BREW 2005 Developer Awards will be judged by an anonymous panel of wireless industry experts from around the world. Using a "scorecard" system for each entry, judging for each category will be based on the following criteria: Ease of Use, Originality, Cool Factor, Features and Likelihood of Success or if commercial, shows evidence of success.
Three finalists per award category (except for the People's Choice Award which will be based on all finalists across all categories) will be selected based on a points system. Finalists will be announced on the Web site the week of May 9th, 2005. Each finalist will be supplied with additional information approximately four weeks prior to the conference.
Finalists will receive valuable recognition:

• Inclusion in a Qualcomm-issued press release announcing the awards finalists.

• Promotion of their application on the awards Web site.
|
| |
• Exposure at the conference as attendees will be encouraged to vote for their favorite finalist application
in the People's Choice Awards.

• Finalists exhibiting in the partner pavilion at BREW 2005 will be identified as a finalist with a sign at
their booth.
|
The application receiving the highest total number of points in its category will be named the winner at the awards ceremony, held at the BREW 2005 Conference in San Diego, June 1-3.
