The 2005 program represented the inaugural year for the BREW Conference - India Developer Awards. The awards categories for 2006 have been updated to better reflect the diversity of advanced BREW applications available in India. Winners in 2005 include:

The Platinum BREW award was presented to Indiagames Inc. for its innovative and industry-leading mobile game development.

The Diamond BREW award was presented to Astute Systems Technologies for the company's "out of the box" applications, ranging from the mythical to the financial, which bring added value to consumers.

The Golden BREW award was presented to Phoneytunes.com for its unique brand of fun and innovative applications, including M Blog, Karaoke and chatting applications.

The Silver BREW award was presented to Nazara Technologies for repurposing content for mobile phones and many exciting BREW projects in the pipeline.
