- Appeal to your audience.
The BREW 2008 Conference targets developers, publishers, content providers, wireless operators, device manufacturers and technology providers for wireless data services. BREW 2008 will attract both repeat attendees and new attendees eager to know more about BREW® and the opportunities it presents. The general audience is tech-savvy, entrepreneurial, analytical and detail-oriented. - Submit a presentation within particular topics of interest:
- Business applications for small to medium businesses and enterprise
- 3D gaming/graphics
- Audio for games
- Multiplayer/networked games
- Cross-platform games
- New platforms and technologies taking gaming to the next level (EV-DO, WGE, ExEn, etc.)
- Mobile Entertainment
- Mobile TV
- Location-based services/location-aware applications
- Community/social networking
- Personalization
- MMS
- Browsers
- Bluetooth
- Presence
- DRM
- Next generation handset features
- Flash® Lite™ for BREW
- Java™
- Air interface
- Network diagnostics

Please note that this is a list of topics chosen by the selection committee. It is not an all inclusive list of topics, but is provided to give you an idea of what the audience wants to hear.
- Propose several presentations with different topics.
While we may receive multiple presentations on one topic, we may not receive any on another. Submit multiple presentations on different topics in order to assure that you will be chosen to participate within our diverse agenda. - Submit your presentation in both the business and technical tracks.
If your presentation topic can be technically focused or it can have a relevant business perspective, then submit it in both tracks. - Avoid product pitches.
BREW 2008 is not a forum to pitch your company's products or offerings. It is an educational forum to explore technology and business topics regarding to the advancement of BREW-related wireless data services and products. Submissions that are product pitches will be rejected. Conversely, the selection committee likes sessions that have real world implications, such as case studies and practical technical insights. - Make your talk stand out.
Talks on generic subjects can be rejected. Be unique! Try to address old subjects in new ways, or discuss unrecognized features, benefits and implications of new technology. - Do what you know.
The selection committee will be looking for evidence that you are expert in the topic that you have proposed. Make sure to leverage your individual or organizational expertise when making your speaking proposal. - Customize your content. Try to answer some of these questions to ensure success:
- What does the future hold for BREW?
- What is Qualcomm and it's partners doing to make BREW commercial services more successful?
- What success stories can I share and what lessons did I learn?
- What technical insights and innovations can I share?
- What strategies didn't work?
- What is the latest in the consumer market?
- What are the current industry trends?
