back to topAnimate Your BREW Applications with the SharpMotionART Extension
Are you looking for a way to add animation to an application or repurpose your existing vector graphic library (Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Macromedia Flash & Freehand, etc.) for BREW?
A solution is available now and you don't need a degree in graphic design to do some really cool stuff. The SharpMotionART authoring tool is made available free of charge* to any developer looking to simplify application development, speed time-to-market and make your apps look top-notch. (*applications using the authoring tool need to do revenue share with Sharp per the BREW extension model)
Here's how to take your existing vector graphics content and repurpose it to create compelling applications for BREW:- Create your vector art (if you haven't already) using the most popular illustration tools, including, Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, Macromedia Flash & Freehand.
- Open the content in CorelDraw or Adobe Illustrator and 'Save As' SVG (see the SharpMotionART authoring tool guide for optimal 'save as' settings.)
- Open your artwork in SharpMotionART. The tool will ask you to choose a 'bezier curve' setting between 1-10 to control the number of vector points that are included in the object. (quantity of points impacts file size)
And you're ready to animate! Download the authoring tool documentation: http://galamo.com/sharpmotionart/help/atoolbrew.pdf.
