BREW Wireless Resource Center

In our continuing efforts to create a wide variety of tools and information on BREW development, we have been working with DevX.com to create the BREW Wireless Resource Center. The resource center features original content with a fresh, independent voice endorsing BREW technology and highlighting BREW partners. Written by BREW developers for BREW developers, article topics include technology insights, case studies, getting started guides and much more.

In addition to the technical articles, follow the escapades of a real-life BREW developer as they tell their adventure, chapter by chapter, of starting a wireless software company and getting funding, making distribution deals, evaluating the whims of a market that's just starting; the mistakes made and lessons learned; and, ultimately, finishing actual products, making deals with big companies, and seeing real products on virtual shelves making real money.

DevX.com is a leading online technical site for corporate developers and IT professionals that showcase cross-platform, cross technology solutions, content, code, and peer-to-peer exchange.

Creating BREW Applications Using Visual Studio .NET

So you want to use Visual Studio .NET to write BREW applications but you're not sure where to begin? There is a new document titled Creating BREW® Applications Using Visual Studio .NET posted to the BREW Developer web site that may be just what you need.

This document describes two methods for creating BREW applications using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET. It covers the following two scenarios: developing a BREW application from scratch using Visual Studio .NET and converting any BREW application you developed using Visual Studio 6.0 to the Visual Studio .NET environment with no loss of features or functionality.
