"Who Got Game?" Open GL ES Game Development Contest

Are you up for a good challenge? Then get ready, because it's going to be an exciting year! Qualcomm has been thrilled with the amount of innovative content from the BREW developer community and wants to ensure that compelling applications and cutting-edge content continues to pour in. Show off your skills by participating in the best developer contests and award programs in the industry.

You can start right now. The 2004 "Who Got Game?" Open GL ES Game Development Contest is underway. The contest challenges developers working with Qualcomm's BREW solution to create 3D games, screensavers, UIs, or other to demo mobile applications for Qualcomm's Q3Dimension 3D gaming engine. Integrated into Qualcomm's array of chipsets, Q3Dimension will soon be incorporated into many phone models, quickly creating a significant installed base of wireless 3D gaming handsets as well as a rapidly growing business opportunity for BREW 3D game developers.

Submissions for the "Who Got Game?" contest will be accepted through November 30, 2004. Complete contest rules can be found online at GameDev.net, a leading online community for game developers: http://www.gamedev.net/community/contest/qualcomm2004/.

Also, look for more information to be announced soon regarding the highly coveted BREW 2005 Developer Awards. Presented in conjunction with the BREW 2005 Conference, and one of the only programs judging applications on an international scale, this program honors the world's best wireless applications. The call for entries will open in January, but it's never too early to start innovating. For general information, visit BREW2005 and stay tuned for updates.
