Aaron Bernstein

Aaron Bernstein is a senior manager with the Qualcomm Gaming Group, the team chartered to champion, define and drive the Qualcomm wireless gaming experience. Bernstein oversees the group's Developer Relations activities to ensure that the platform is profitable and viable for publishers and developers so that they can deliver the best possible wireless games. Prior to joining Qualcomm in 2003, Bernstein worked at PacketVideo, RealNetworks, and PricewaterhouseCoopers Consulting. Bernstein holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor's degree from Haverford College.
Arvin Chander
Senior Director, Asia, Qualcomm Internet Services
Arvin Chander is senior director for the Asia region within Qualcomm Internet Services (QIS). QIS is the Qualcomm division responsible for Qualcomm's BREW® solution and Eudora® email client, and is chartered with driving development of next-generation wireless data applications, technologies and value-added services. Chander is responsible for the sales, implementation and project management of operators offering services based on the BREW solution throughout Asia. Prior to joining QIS, Chander was responsible for business development for Asia and Brazil with QCPI. Chander originally joined Qualcomm in 1998 and has held various positions in finance in Qualcomm Consumer Products Group. Prior to joining Qualcomm, Chander was with Wells Fargo Banking Corporation in their corporate banking group. Chander holds a bachelors degree from University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and Masters Business Administration from Marshall School of Business (USC).
Sachin Deshpande
Senior Product Manager, Qualcomm Internet Services
Sachin Deshpande is a senior product manager for Qualcomm Internet Services, where he is responsible for managing and overseeing business relations with third-party LBS, communications, mobile search, and browser developer community with their creation of applications for the BREW platform. Prior to joining Qualcomm in 2002, Deshpande held various product and marketing roles at Openwave, Cisco and Banyan Systems. He holds an BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley and an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Vishal Gupta

Vishal Gupta is the director, product technologies, India & SAARC, for Qualcomm Internet Services (QIS). QIS is the Qualcomm division responsible for Qualcomm's BREW® solution and Eudora® email client, and is chartered with driving development of next-generation wireless data applications, technologies and value-added services. Gupta is the in-country director for Qualcomm Product Technologies, which encompasses both Qualcomm Internet Services (QIS) and Qualcomm CDMA Technologies (QCT). Gupta drives and oversees the business management for QIS and QCT products to wireless operators in the Indian subcontinent. His activities include sales & business development, OEM & developer relations, strategic customer acquisition and leadership for the in-country QIS and QCT teams. Gupta joined Qualcomm in 1997, a time when Qualcomm was beginning its expansion into South Asia. He has held various positions within Qualcomm since then, including regional manager of QIS India during negotiations to launch BREW services with Tata and Reliance. Prior to his work with Qualcomm, Gupta was a senior manager for worldwide marketing for the SGSN Product Line at Hughes Software in India and also served as a regional manager in Australia and New Zealand for SignalSoft Corporation's LBS portfolio. Gupta holds an engineering degree with specialization in electronics & telecommunications from KREC, Surathkal, India.
Surendra Venkata Nallam

Surendra Venkata Nallam has been with Qualcomm India Private Limited since its operations started from Hyderabad in 2004 and is currently working on Compact Media Extensions (CMX) software developing applications and tools for CMX. Nallam's experience is in the areas of user interface and application development for mobile phones. Nallma also worked with applications for PBX that automates installation, upgrade and maintenance routines. Nallam has an MTech from Indian Institute of Technology Bombay in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research.

Hidenori has worked in KDDI for more than 10 years and prior to his present position he worked in network development and handset strategy for KDDI.

Dr. Nimish Shrivastava is the Founder, President and Chief Technology Officer of eMbience Inc, a leading global developer and publisher of mobile entertainment and location-based solutions. Based in the US, Dr. Shrivastava has spent more than a decade developing applications in the mobile and wireless sector for consumers and enterprises. He connects eMbience with leading content providers and business partners, while also spearheading the development and publishing of new proprietary applications.
Kanwalinder Singh
President, Qualcomm India and SAARC
Kanwalinder Singh is president of Qualcomm India and SAARC, a role he began in September 2004. Singh is the primary driver for accelerating the growth of CDMA in India and South Asian countries and is responsible for regional business and strategic decisions and manages market facing, engineering and application development resources. His role includes the forging of lasting relationships with operators, handset manufacturers and publishers and developers in this emerging region to promote the adoption of cutting edge technologies such as the BREW solution, CDMA2000 1xEV-DO, WCDMA, MediaFLO and gpsOne. His vision for Qualcomm India is to ensure a more catalytic role in accomplishing CDMA growth and pioneering next generation wireless services in India by accelerating the growth of CDMA in India and South Asian countries.
Singh is credited with achieving several milestones, including the introduction of affordable handsets in India and South Asia, based on Qualcomm's Value Platform chipsets. He has also been instrumental in the adoption of the BREW solution by Indian partners including Tata and Reliance. In addition, he continues to advocate the need for equitable allocation of the spectrum in the interest of growing CDMA services for Indian consumers.
Under his leadership, Qualcomm India has grown rapidly. The BREW Developer Lab in Mumbai is one of nine BREW developer labs worldwide providing Indian application developers access to the latest BREW-enabled handsets, software and testing tools. He has actively led industry academia partnerships with the aim of empowering CDMA research by attracting the best available talent in India.
Prior to his position at Qualcomm, Kanwalinder was Chief Technical Officer with Lucent Technologies India Ltd. He has also held various technical and managerial positions in Bell Laboratories and product units over his eleven-year tenure at Lucent Technologies in New Jersey (USA).
Kanwalinder completed a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University, Pennsylvania, USA and Ph.D. coursework in Computer and Systems Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, New York. He is a graduate of the Executive Development Program at Wharton School of Business, Pennsylvania.
Brooks Wang

Brooks Wang is a staff engineer at Qualcomm Internet Services China. Wang's main responsibility is to lead Qualcomm China's application team and the Unicom-BREW technical support team working on local feature developments, technical support and technical trainings. Before joining Qualcomm in March 2002, Wang worked at Motorola for 4 ½ years on 3G technology.
